| What's up, my hard rockin' amigos (and amigas)? I only found out that this site existed 3 days ago, and I can't tell you how excited I am about it. Everyone from WWC has been very greatly on my mind lately. I wonder what you all are doing and how God has been blessing you. It is amazing to see his works as he leads everyone in different directions. It seems that just about everyone's lives are changing in ways they would not have expected. So, let me fill you in on me.
As many of you know, it has always been my desire to become a youth pastor. As such, I spent my summers after WWC working with different churches in youth groups under the training of their youth pastors. Last summer ('04) I worked in Cary, NC with a lovely lady named Lindsey A. Wilkins. The very first time I was introduced to her, I seriously thought these exact words to myself: "Wow! This girl is incredibly beautiful. I wonder if God brought me here so that I could work with her, become good friends with her, date her, fall in love with her and marry her?....NAH, I am such a hopeless romantic!" However, on August 13th the following year (~2 months ago), I married her. Woo Hoo!
Also, this June I started a job working out in Coloroado Springs, CO for two years working as a youth pastor trainee. Things have been hard out here, and due to a number of tough reasons, I am not sure how long I will stay, but when I move away from here it is Seminary for me and my wife (ROCK!) at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Lewis, MI, where I will get my M. Div and Lindsey will get her M. Theology, and I will go on to become a full time youth pastor...somewhere. Things are falling into place, and God has been very good to me. I will put up a few pictures of my lovely Bride and I as soon as I can, and I hope that enough people still check this things to be able to keep relatively in touch. I love you all very very dearly, and I can't wait to catch up on all the other posts you guys have slapped up here. God bless!
Argh!

| wow guys, we are definately not good at keeping up at this whole 'xanga' thing!! anyway, for those of you who were unable to make the trek, alumni wkend was great. twas so nice to catch up w/ people, and just nice to spend some time in a slower pace of life. for those oh you who werent aware, Tammy, Ashley, Josh H., Ben C. (from last yr), and I skied the birkie. Josh kicked butt w/ a finishing time of exactly 3:30. Tammy survived her first, and Ben and Ash had technical difficulties. Josh Heyworth graciously stayed w/ me as i putted along. all in all, it was truly a breath-taking day and was a very nice visit (for me anyway). that's that in a nutshell, and more of you really have to write stuff just to make life interesting. later.

| Happy New Year,
Well it is the start of another year.....and for us just another semester of more homework and stresses of college life. First let me say that my heart goes out to you Tori. I pray that God will give your family strength and courage in their time of need and that God may guide your father in wisdom and perseverence. Alyssa I'm sorry to hear about your parents and I pray that your family will look to God for strength and guidence as well.
This semester marks the start and of a crazy and wild race to the stage of graduation. For those who read this in time please pray as I have my first real job interview in the real job market on Wed. Jan 5. I will be driving myself nuts till then so please pray for patience and peace. Speaking of peace I would like to let everyone know about my anxiety. It has become a problem for me in school so I have had to seek medical help....essentially i'm on an antidepressant to help calm my nerves. My last semester was the worst of them all and I became and emotional wreck which took its toll on my grades. I'm hopeing that this is something temporary till I graduate and get away from all the stress at school (i'm not in the best of classes). Just a matter for prayer.
As this new year starts let me just say that we don't have to wait for a new year for a new slate or to start a new chapter in our lives. We can make resolutions any day, any time, any where, with God. Its just not the resolution to change something about ourselves either, its about remembering that its the Holy Spirit who changes us....if we want it.
May this semester go well for you all and may you remember that God is Emmanuel (God with us!!)

| Merry Christmas everyone! Isn't it wonderful to be able to celebrate the coming of Christ so freely? He is the only reason this life has any meaning, indeed, the reason this life can be so full of meaning. I pray that we will all come to a greater understanding of the deepest truth that is the heart of this holiday and spread it to the families and freinds we celebrate with. I am reminded of the many in places like China and Sudan who are not able to celebrate openly this Christmas. The persecution and poverty they face are completely foreign to us, but they suffer as our brothers and sisters. Perhaps they celebrate more truly in spirit than we in America do with our aboundant matirial paraphernalia (which I somehow manage to belittle very easily in my own situation). We must not forget them in all the chaos that is typical of this time of year. Please take time to think about and pray for these people around the world. If you would like to pray specifically, or write a family or person who is in jail for thier faith you can go to www.persecution.com, and look for the Prisoner Alert link. Its a little thing, but I'm sure letters would be very encouraging, and they also say something to the guards and governments holding our brothers and sisters in Christ. I love you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas. Peace, Meagan | | |
| PS. Tori and Alyssa, I am praying for you and your families and Tori, your church, persevere. Travis, I think that what you're doing is so cool, I might do it too. | | |
